Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico in a family who loved music. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros, and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves tangos, operas and other theatrical performances. She began singing and learning music with her mother, and commenced more serious singing training when she was 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The beginning of her professional career saw her perform with many orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. After moving to America, United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she relocated to Southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo in classical Latin American music at private events. Alongside being a local performer and instructor and instructor, her passion for art and music has her involved in a range of projects. Ana was also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing traditional Latin American song.
